Mini CHP Units

Mini CHP gas engines are an option when it comes to distributed heat and power generation on farms or in industrial production. The main components in mini CHP's are the gas engine, generator, heat exchangers (jacket water, exhaust gas) and control.

Mini CHP units are small turbo charged lean burn gas engines with an air/fuel ratio of ≤ 14.7 or natural aspirated gas engines with a stoichiometric (λ=1) air/fuel ratio capable of burning natural gas or bio-methane.

The electrical power output ranges from as low as 1kW to 140 kW. Most of the machines come skid mounted integrated into an indoor enclosure. Noise levels of < 65 dB can be reached that way.
